Nice atmosphere but very tightly packed. The service was fine but it seemed that they may have been short-staffed because they were rather frantically moving about in a busy, but not packed dining room. Had lovely wine but the food was only passable. Spicy chicken...More

We had lunch here, though the service was a little slow, the food was good and the atmosphere very inviting. We were lucky as the sun came out which made the terrace a bustling place to eat. Inside it is old and quaint with atmosphere....More

Lovely glass of wine on the terrace. Great Camembert starter. Great fish and chips. Great cranachan. Even better service. Second time we have been and I will go again next time we visit Edinburgh.
