Stopped on the off chance and had a nice meal. Scampi and homemade lasagne, and plenty of it, with polite service to boot! Well worth a visit.

6 of us went there for birthday lunch for my wife. Booked at 12 which was the opening time, and as normal we turned up a little early - 1145. Gate was locked and another car turned up. As there was no movement we spoke to the girl in the car who turned out to be a waitress from the... More

Went for a high tea. Tasty meal and good atmosphere. Will be going back soon. Handy for going on to the cinema.

After many weeks pondering whether to revisit this establishment we checked the website this morning and noted the opening times. Menus also looked pretty good. The three of us set off from Blairgowrie and arrived just after 1300 hours. Signs directed us to the restaurant which was open. On entry there was no other patrons in the restaurant. I went... More

Repeat visit as it was great last time.left disappointed this time, such a shame. Was actually one of my favourite places but the service, ambience and the food today let it down today. Won't hurry back.

Off to a rocky start with a slightly bemused looking waitress when we arrived but our table was ready and waiting, however we we not shown to our seats, we were just pointed in the general direction. Once seated we were asked what kind of tea we wanted, slightly confusing as the waitress meant which menu did we want, dinner... More

After a mid morning tea and cake stop, we went for a tank ride then back for lunch. The food was so reasonable, under £30 for 6 even if not the best quality. Staff were alright despite being slightly disinterested. A favourite was the highlander burger and the cheese chips and portions were huge. A pleasant lunch overall

Off the beaten track a little, food is delicious, good selection and chef is very accommodating (for the fussy amongst us)

Went on Sunday for high tea, 3 of us, it's a 40 seater restaurant, we counted the seats. 6 people in for high tea when we got there. 4 people already eating, 2 people to order before us. A booking for 3 arrived ten minutes after us, a rather stressed out, sweaty male member of staff burst out the kitchen... More

We have been here a few times for high tea and it never disappoints. You can also sometimes watch clay pigeon shooting at the same time as eating your meal! Half portions are enough if you also go for the toast and cakes. I had macaroni, salad and chips which was lovely, and definitely home made. My son had fish... More
