Well I would firstly like to say that the food was very good. Service was an abomination. First drink after being seated came in 5 minutes which is perfect. It took 30 minutes to be asked what we would like to order, we had a 5 year old with us and 50 minutes for the food to arrive. In the... More

Huge choice, large portions and a lovely old pub ambience - in a nearly brand new building! The quality is a bit "pubby", and that's not particularly meant as a compliment. The staff are much more professional than previously, and table service is a big improvement on the previous slightly tiresome counter service clutching a wooden spoon with a number... More

The restaurant is well laid out with plenty of space between the tables. The menu is at the top end of pub grub with some nice twists. We chose the Sunday lunch options. Food was great with amazing Yorkshire puddings. Not expensive and well worth the visit.

Upon arriving at the restaurant I asked to look at the menu first to make sure my dietary requirements were catered for... More

Was out for a birthday meal with my daughter & ordered 2 rump steaks medium to well, unfortunately they came back dry and tough. We didn't enjoy them, have been to this restaurant several times and steak is usually done nicely, bit of a let down. Didn't have time to complain as my girl has autism and everything is about... Been to the bell tree for over 5years, and it has always been good, nice food, pleasant staff. However change of management recently and its going down hill at a very fast rate, which is such a shame and I know I'm not the only one thinking that. Twice now, over a 3 month period, they haven't got a lot... More

The service we received was very good on this visit, there were 11 ladies and everyone of us enjoyed our meal. The waitress was very friendly and the food was delivered within a reasonable time
