we had a lovely lunch here, lady was very attentive and friendly, the café isn't the biggest but nice and fresh and clean. We had the baked potatoes and they certainly did not scrimp, plenty on the plate, lovely baked potato and fresh side salad, and the price was excellent. Will certainly call in again when we come back there.

Having just completed the St Mary's Isle walk we decided to stay in Kirkcudbrightshire for some lunch. Not being able to find a dog friendly venue we decided to leave our dog in the car and went to Mulberries. The menu was good and as we were eating later decided to share a haggis melt and bowl of wedges. We... More

Good food with parking right outside. Close to the harbour. It's a busy and very popular cafe with locals as well as visitors so you may have to wait a bit to be served but good to sit and people-watch. Good choice of food too

We popped in one afternoon during the christmas break and as it was near closing the kitchen was closed, but the staff were very friendly in offering what they could from the cakes counter. This was served quickly and efficiently overall a friendly cafe and the menu reflects the fact that it is a just that, nice soups and sandwiches... More

Small friendly cafe ideal to take two young grandchildren for snack at lunch time. Very good service with reasonable quality food from good menu and home baked cakes. Children had hot dogs and plate of chips to share whilst we had the 'winter warmer'. Tray bakes very good. This cafe within walking distance of main attractions in Kirkcudbright including the... Mulberries makes the effort not to rush you to choose from their very comprehensive menu. It's not 'posh' but it is still comfortable and very clean and tidy. There are daily newspapers to read at your leisure. The staff are attentive, friendly and welcoming. I had a prawn sandwich which was full of lovely prawns, the coleslaw was lovely and... More

Had a light lunch. My haggis and cheese melt was ok although the cheese would have benefitted from more time under the grill and the salad garnish from a light dressing. The service was prompt and friendly and the place clean.Seemed popular with the locals.

Called in just after lunch time for a late lunch. Fairly extensive 'all day' menu with good value for money. Ordered sandwiches which came on a dinner plate accompanied by a plentiful salad. Service was prompt and friendly. Whilst there we noticed several locals who obviously used this cafe on a regular basis. Must be a good recommendation.
