This is a sort of italian eaterie which is pleasantly situated right on the edge of the river Teviot. We sat at a table which overlooked the river. The vegetable pasta dish was rather pleasing and the steak pie was OK, but the frozen chips had a consistency of cardboard. The coffee was very good with a healthy crema.

This used to be the best italian restaurant in Hawick. Alas it is now a french restaurant but still worth a visit although menu somewhat limited.

Booked a table after seeing a film at Heart of Hawick using the ""Sergio's number and thinking we were going to eat Italian, only to get there to find it has been taken over by a young French couple from Edinburgh and is now called "2016". Simple 2 choice 3/4 course menu reasonably priced which changes every month. Wine by... More

We are amazed at the good reviews on here. The quality of the food was terrible. Granted initially I loved the simple decor and the promise of an authentic experience but that is where the experience ended. I was truly shocked that the prawns were of the cheapest ice blasted kind, defrosted and with a texture of cardboard, tasting of... More

I can pretend we are in Italy when we visit Sergios. Sergio himself is always about giving a real family feel! Food is ways lovely and served with aplomb and Italian colour. We are lucky to have such a super local asset. I particularly like Sergois own spaghetti dish.

Decisions ....decisions .....decisions Ok then we decided on Italian, and as usual, good old Trip had to be used. Reading some of the reviews on Sergio's, it just had to be. This place reminded me of the good old Italians you would find in the back streets of Spain.....hand painted pictures on the wall, fairly bare room, but with that... More

Great place for a little lunch or a full blow dinner. Excellent quality food served with enthusiasm by the Italian staff. Steaks are second to none.
