We cycled here from the campsite at Barcaldine - about an hour's ride at our pace. Had driven past the cafe on quite a few occasions and liked the look of it. Had a very good filter coffee, skinny latte and raspberry scone. Delicious.

What a treat to have this gem right around the corner from where we live exceptional pizzas, greek salad bottle of wine and mars krispies or strawboffee for dessert to finish. Whats not to love!!

I grew up in Benderloch, a tiny village near oban, and go back often to visit my mum who lives nearby. This wee cafe/bookshop is a gem. Jimmy makes the scones every morning-they are amazing! He also stocks very individual jewellery from a lady who lives in Ballachulish -I buy earrings each time I visit. This is well worth a... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was good and we then had a lovely walk on the Tralee Bay beach.

We were exhibiting at the victory hall model show at the weekend. We fancied a proper pizza and weren't disappointed. The staff couldn't do enough AND when I asked for a cheese board which wasn't on the menu they obliged with the best one I've had for a long long time, must've been half pound of cheese. Brilliant. I would... More

We needed somewhere to go on a wet day and we had a coffee and hot chocolate which my husband declared was very good! Service was good though not many books to see and would have loved to sit at a table with a book but notices everywhere told not to do so! It was busy but whether that was... More

We were staying close by and would have used this place far more if the grumpy old man hadn't soured both of our two visits. The first time we were ushered from the door area and told to sit down - when it was established that we only wanted take-away coffee he was a bit sharp with us (despite being... More
