Go to place for me - maybe not at it's pinnacle, when Jonny Phillips was head chef, but still flavoursome food and plenty of it for a reasonable price. The starters and wee pizzetta's still hit a high note for me. Shame the fennel sausage...More

I was surprised to see that the menu had been chopped to about 5 starters and the same number of mains since our last visit. That said they are all good choices and very tasty so we were not disappointed. I opted for a beetroot...More

We went to the restaurant for Sunday lunch - the decor and ambience were fine and we had very helpful service. The food however was poor. - all All the potatoes they had available had been blanched in a potentially contaminated frier so no gluten...More

Food gorgeous, servcie great and staff knowledgeable on menu. Nice atmosphere and lovely cocktails. I advise booking to avoid disappointment especially at the weekend. Please try the duck ragu and the arincini. The shared roasts on a sunday are lovely.

I found the menu disappointing. The bruschetta starter was a soggy slice of bread, toasted but definitely not a bruschetta. The Parmesan fries were dry, frozen skinny fries with some grated Parmesan. All in all very disappointing food.

Arrived at 8.10pm for a quick bite to eat. We had no reservation and the restaurant was half empty. The front of house lady took quite a while to decide if she could give us a table or not, and then plonked us in the...More
