Newly refurbished bar looks great - has a real modern city vibe. Nice layout and the booths are great for groups of friends. Although the bar area and selection of drink is great the same can't be said about the food. Ordered 3 sharing bites and a chicken mix dish - would not rate any of this at all. The... More

We're regulars in the Four Winds and we're initially delighted and excited at the refurb and the 2 Magpies. The food service on our first visit wasn't great - we put this down to teething problems and the second time was fine. We've eaten there on about 6 occasions and every single time there's been a problem. These include no... More

Used to be more of a regular here, sometimes food was really good. But today, with ten people in the restaurant, the food and service were pretty abysmal. There was a "special" chicken & chickpea curry on. The curry was just ok. The rice was so over cooked it was like porridge and water was oozing from the rice into... More

Arrived at the Four Winds around 7.15 the Two Magpies Bar was really buzzing. The new design is fantastic, lots of different styles of comfy seating and furnishings throughout the bar We opted to eat from the snack menu, Salt & Chili Squid was delicious, spicy crisp coating with perfectly cooked Squid, not chewy or rubbery very Morish. The Cheesy... More

Went to Fourwinsds with another couple of girls for a chat and something to eat. There weren't too many around on a Wednesday night so service was attentive and food good. Couple of bottles of wine and lots of chat later we noticed we were the only folks left by 10pm so felt we had to go - atmosphere lacking... More

I've been here a few times since the lounge bar was refurbished - mostly because of the football but it's a massive improvement on what it used to be. The layout of the bar is much much better, great outside area as well with individual TV's if you fancy sitting outside.

We went to the Carolyn Stewart party night and had a three course meal as well. The food was amazing! I had garlic bread to start, steak sandwich for main and pavlova to finish. The steak was done to perfection and the onion chutney was absolutely delicious. The chunky chips were some of the best I've tasted. The entertainment was... More

Perfect choice for evening birthday celebration on a Saturday as you are allowed to keep your table, great music, staff very efficient, service and food good, reasonable price, a good choice for the slightly mature. Ciaran, Paul and team were superb.

Went here with my partner for lunch, our first time here and will not be the last. There were not many people in but it was a Monday... We were greeted by a pleasant girl and sat in a pue type seat, the surroundings were bright, modern and clean. We chose a dish from the menue of the day... He... More

On our way home from a trip to Lisburn we were feeling peckish so my husband suggested the Four Winds as the parking is good. It was about 1:50 and we were worried they may have stopped serving lunch but there was no problem. We were quickly seated and given menus and our drink order taken. My husband ordered the... More
