Last night we had our office Christmas dinner at The Allotment Bistro. It's the third time this year that I've been in with a large group (over 20 people). Each time the food has been beautiful and the service has been fantastic. Alex and his staff couldn't have done more for us. When we discovered that the Vegetarian Pie was... More

This was our second visit and it didn't disappoint. The Allotment has central location, cute decor, friendly and efficient service. I prefer their regular menu, but the Christmas menu offers good choice and value. The salmon was flavourful as was the pork loin. The veg, as usual, was spot on!

A diverse group of 8 of us were passing thinking about what to eat and needing to get something, and seen this place and decided to give it a go. A diverse group as I say with some wanting breakfast type food, some sandwich type and some decided on curries. All-in-all everyone ate everything, clean plates all round and very... More

My husband and I had a superb meal here yesterday evening (Friday 25/11/16) & were warmly welcomed by the lovely Stacey who proved to be not only extremely friendly but she was also an excellent waitress. Both my husband and my steaks were cooked to perfection and the side orders were also delicious. We have already recommended to friends of... More

Selected the Allotment for date night (Saturday 13/08/16) as I had eaten here previously and loved the menu and the food was first class. My companion and I were welcomed on arrival and treated really well for the entire evening (we even stayed until near midnight to finish our wine!) The manager and the service team could not do enough... More

I had booked this restaurant for my 30th birthday for myself and a group of friends. I had spoken with the owner multiple times before over the phone to try and arrange karaoke but despite him being polite and helpful over the phone when we turned up, it wasn't available. Unfortunately it all went downhill from here. We each had... More

Service was excellent and the food was beautiful. It is a bistro - there's no table clothes or fancy cutlery. But it's cosy, the foods good and it's bring your own .. Will go again
