The surroundings are classy and the service very warm, friendly and helpful. We had a main course only as we were heading to the theatre; a pudding would have been nice but the service was quite slow. We both had the buttered chicken curry and enjoyed it very much. One small let-down was grubby menus and and an even grubbier... More

My husband and I were going to a show so decided to have pre-theatre dinner. We hadn't booked but we were shown to a table by a very pleasant young man. We got a nice table near the window, drinks order taken quickly and then we ordered the food.. We both decided to order a Glenarm Shorthorn Burger and at... More

As a precursor to a night out at the theatre we went into The Causerie for a pre-theatre meal. The menu was varied and indeed the food was excellent, the servings were ample and very reasonably priced. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, definitely a great start to a night out. The Warm Armagh Apple Sponge is actually worth... More

This is one of my favourite places, food is excellent, and a good choice, staff are friendly and helpful. If you haven't tried their fish and chips give them a try, plenty of other choices, suitable for vegetarians. Great atmosphere.

Went in for a very special occasion and was not disappointed! Lots of options for vegetarians and incredibly fresh ingredients. We'd like to give another thank you to Mr Abdul for taking care of us that day, whilst still affording us some privacy. He was very friendly and offered some great choices for us to try! I'd recommend the cheeseboard for... More

Not very busy on the weeknight we visited, to the extent that it felt a bit lifeless. Service was o.k., but nothing special. Same for the food, extensive enough menu, but not awe inspiring. Overall, we might use again for a pre-theatre meal, but probably not for anything else.
