A party of 16 booked on a very busy evening (St Patricks day). The service was excellent despite the restaurant being very busy and the food was superb.

This place looks like a small bistro from the out side but it's really very big , ideal for family's parties etc .. I found it a little noises for a couples meal .. but still comfortable and nice .. Very affordable meat balls and a seafood linguini with garlic bread and garlic chips .. around £27 for both can't... More

Turned up at 8pm on a Sunday, no reservation thinking it would be quiet... we were wrong. Luckily we were given a table straight away, but at least 80-90% of the tables were in use. Quick service on drinks and food alike. Bottle of wine, 3 pizzas, one carbonara, a side of garlic mushrooms and 2 starters to share with... More

Called in here more or less on spec and all four or us very pleasantly impressed. It's a large restaurant obviously geared up to give excellent service very quickly. The food was excellent, we'll be back!!

Stopped off here late on a Saturday evening with three hungry children. You can always tell how authentic an Italian eatery is by how they treat children. Like most Italians, they treat them good, it's in their DNA! Really nice pizza, really decent pasta ( seafood linguine ) and super friendly and cheerful staff. Wonderful buzz and nicely laid out.... Upon arrival we thought we would have a long wait due to no booking and 4-5 couples in front of us, within 5 minutes we were sitting getting our order taken by a very friendly young man my wife had Carbonara, I had a chicken dish with ham and a creamy wine and cheese sauce, our daughter had a child's... I have been going to this restaurant for years and can honestly say it is my favourite restaurant in Belfast. The management are so welcoming and professional. Recommend if you are in a big party to book before hand to save everyone standing waiting around for a table. Menu covers everything from pizza, fish, chicken, steak and they also have... More

Description
Villa Italia is a family run pizzeria restaurant established in 1988 in the heart of South Belfast, just a stones throw from Queen's University. A listed Georgian building, its success as one of Belfast's most popular eateries with over 300 seats continues to grow and is obvious by the queues which form on a regular basis outside the door every weekend - rain, hail or snow!

Inside you can enjoy the rustic Italian charm of our interiors; picturesque murals, terracotta tiles, hanging grapevines, the subtle smell of garlic in the air and with Italian speaking waiters amongst our staff, one cannot help but feel transported to La Bella Italia itself!
