We called in one lunchtime, having not been for many years, and were more than impressed. The welcome was warm and genuine, the menu choices were great in terms of dishes and prices and the atmosphere was that of a traditional pub. We ordered a steak and a rack of ribs with curly fries and a side of onion rings.... More

We were staying at the local travelodge and decided to eat at the cross keys. My husband had the steak and ale pie with chips and I had steak with jacket potato and salad. A cup of tea and a pint of Guinness. The puddings were tempting but we were full- decent size portions and very well cooked. Would definitely... More

I was staying in Swansea for work and found this pub close to my hotel. The staff were very friendly and the menu had a great selection of delicious sounding food. I went with the £5.50 burger and drink deal and was presented with a huge plate of food. They seem to have a few deals on for different days... More

Went with my friend on a lunch break from work and had the chicken with peppercorn sauce, peas and mash potato - was really tasty (a few months back). Went again this December with family, had the sausage and mash with gravy. Mash was dry and the sausages were burnt, like it had all been microwaved. No peas, coke was... More

Christmas shopping wouldn't be the same without a visit to the Cross Keys! Lovely welcome, fantastic food freshly cooked and cheerful staff. Their pies are something special, especially if you choose the puff pastry top .... very filling and tasty. It's really worth a visit anytime of year as it's close to the leisure centre and the town centre ..... More

We decided to go the Cross Keys as it's good value for money and good food. I had the steak and ale which was beautiful. I tried my girlfriend's lasagne which was very tasty and juicy. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Can not comment on food as when we arrived with our registered aid Labrador was refused entry. I was also told by the sullen, ill-mannered young woman that no restaurant in Swansea centre would accommodate an aid dog. Word of advice sullen young woman, there are disability laws in this country. We then went to the Snow Lodge near by... More
