We came here on a saturday and it was full. i ordered the pulled pork hotdog and it was not bad, not quite American standards but enjoyable. We was in a rush and it took more than 30 mins for our food to arrive. i would go back but on a quiet day.

Family brekkie, immaculately clean, lovely friendly service. My teenager & his grandad both lived it - grandad for the fifties music (singing along) & all loved the food. I ordered the pancake stack with crispy bacon, maple syrup & blueberries & it was ENORMOUS! Enough for 3 people, but too much for me 🤣!

Had 4 types of breakfast items, with drinks. Not very busy but food took longer than expected for what was basic items. Atmosphere was ok as was the standard of service. With so many options in Cardiff to choose from it's doubtful I would return, but visit was ok.

I've always enjoyed the food here despite it being a little pricey. Hot dogs, cheese fries, malt shakes. It's genuine U.S. dining ethos; all delicious calories with an old timey 50's feel.

We ate at Ed's on a Saturday. It was fairly busy, but to give you an idea we didn't have to wait to be seated. The cajun veggie burger was very tasty and all meals had decent portion sizes. The children's menu had a choice of 4 meals and they were just the right size for an 8 year old.... More

I'm so glad the Cajun Veggy Burger has stayed on Ed's Menu for quite some time. It's the tastiest Veggy Burger around and has a real nice kick to it. Like last year Ed's sent me a birthday voucher to enjoy it for free if I bought a drink. The Service was again good today to and I enjoyed chatting... More

We were seated and then waited over 20 mins to order, ordered and food took ages and came out with hardly any cheese sauce in the cheesy chips.. To their benefit they got some more when I complained. I also asked for refills on our cokes which didn't come and had to complain again. We had then finished our food... More

Good place to go for a different place to eat but i don't think it's worth the money that you have to pay. The portions are not big compared to other places that you would pay less or the same price.

We visited Ed's for a late breakfast around 11am and although the food was OK when it arrived, it took over an hour from arriving to getting our food. The sausages were a bit disappointing and they'd run out of mushrooms. The waiting staff did give us 20% off the bill without prompting which was nice of them but it... More
