I was very impressed with the cafe, and inside such a lovely church. We had soup for lunch it was extremely good. Coffees were good too. I would definitely make my way here next time I'm in Brecon.

This was a welcome haven when we took our 3-year-old granddaughter to Brecon recently. She walked quietly but confidently into the play area whilst we ordered two coffees and an apple juice. The coffee was quite good too! We stayed for well over an hour, and our granddaughter remained playing happily. A good choice of venue for simple pleasures –... More

Thank you for your kind comments and we're glad your granddaughter was able to enjoy the children's play area. I'm afraid we will be closed now (31-AUG 1026) for several months during the winter due to major roof repairs. Please come and see us when we reopen in the spring. More

This is a great place in Brecon to stop in a peaceful setting for a tea, coffee and snack either sweet or savoury.

I am not sure why this is not down as a place see for the church as well as the cafe. The church is very modern looking and stained glass on the main window is truly beautiful and worth a visit. We did not eat or drink at the cafe but there was a guitarist entertaining the clients when we... More

We wandered in simply looking for a coffee shop. It was fabulous. Excellent food, good coffee and a variety of tea. Reasonable prices. Very comfortable café in the aisle of St Mary's Church. A good range of seating and so much more interesting than a corporate coffee shop. All profits go to the church itself. The staff were really genuinely... More

Popped into the cafe with my father and sister. The cafe is lovely and open and sits within the beautiful church. The staff are very attentive and the sandwich menu is vast with lots of vegetarian options. The coffee and tea was very reasonably priced and the sandwiches were served to us within minutes. A sandwich and drink each for... More

Excellent cakes, coffee and tea. A fantastic idea to utilise church space. Very relaxed ambience within architectural splendour. Definitely worth a visit. They are fund raising for a new roof, so please be generous.

While visiting Brecon last Tuesday. I was walking around and came across this gem of a cafe located in the church. It was a sunny day so they had some tables and chairs outside. I went in to see what they were offering around lunchtime. A good selection of light lunches cakes teas and coffee all local produce. Decided on... More
