An unplanned early evening dinner at the Brecon Castle Hotel and what a delightful surprise. Spotlessly clean restaurant, a very good and sensibly priced menu, good quality food, generous portions, well cooked and presented backed up by very discreet service from Dominic.

A special dinner, with just mam, dad, my sister & I. We made a late booking as our original plans changed, and on arrival, during an obligatory rain shower, we did not hold out much hope for a positive experience, as due to a wedding...More

Visited the castle for a family meal. The food was really tasty, good sized portions and presented nicely. Service was good and staff were friendly. Lovely views from the restaurant. Would definitely recommend and will be going back!

Snacks, lunch or dinner is always a treat here. This time we had the bacon, Brie and cranberry toasties. Would recommend! A lovely place to eat and stay!

Four of us called in for lunch. The surroundings are pleasant, the staff polite and efficient. The food was very ordinary, to my taste. The range of food available was quite wide and I found it difficult to choose. I shan't return

Arriving tired and hungry at the hotel we sat outside on the terrace, over viewing the Brecon Beacons and decided to stay and dine at the hotel restaurant. And what a great decision that turned out to be. The menu itself isn't very special, but...More

We have always 3 real ales available. Bass is our house ale and the other 2 keep changing regularly. At the moment we have Butty Bach and London Pride. Thanks for your interest.
