It being a rainy day, myself and my boyfriend, Andy, decided to go out for Sunday Lunch. Having been recommended by a work colleague, we decided to give The Bull a try and we weren't disappointed. We arrived and because we hadn't booked a table, we had to wait for 10 minutes but we didn't mind so much. It gave... More

Went twice in one week whilst away for my partners birthday. First time was a party of 14 who ate both carvery and menu choices. Second time was a party of 8. Both times we were treated well by the staff and there were no complaints about the food.

Have only been for carvery a few times which is nice good selection of meats and veg. Food is tasty and portions are good for the price. Staff are usually polite but not very customer orientated most seem rushed and have litttle time to do more than quickly respond to a question before running off, no how was you food... More

Visited the Bull today at lunch time with friends for a bar snack. We all had an excellent meal, service was good, we didn't wait long for our food to be served, waitress was very pleasant and helpful. All round very pleased with our visit today.

This restaurant is very under-rated. The food is absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend the carvery which is very good value. The meat is freshly cooked/carved and the vegetables are also freshly cooked not frozen. You can be served in a jiffy at the carvery so if you are suddenly hungry pop round for a quick service. I have also... More

Used to come here for food all the time, carvery was cheap and nice.......how times have changed. Now the carvery is £7.25 and the food is poor. Where to start, the roast potatoes where tough on the outside and hard and lumpy on the inside, the carrots, green beans and sweade where dry and way over cooked. The mash was... More
