This wonderful bistro offers friendly service and fantastic food! My dear dad is a regular here and he is treated like family. He loves this! We all had the slow roast leg of lamb served with mustard mash, a selection of fresh vegetables, minted gravy...and mint sauce. Oh mys! Not only a very generous serving but the taste was superb! As an experienced customer relations host in a very well known hotel, I can honestly say that this little gem of a place is so worth a visit be it a light lunch or full on meal. The menu is full of tempting dishes and the staff are so friendly without being intrusive. It gets busy so be sure to book first!More

We went here for lunch prior to visiting the Horse Drawn Boats on the canal. The Bistro was extremely busy and when we got our food we could see why. Large portions of well presented, tasty food with great views over the River. There were...about 8 of us and we were all impressed by the quality of the food and the service.More

The set out was lovely and the staff were friendly. Both of us had a breakfast, wasn't the best but it was nice enough to eat.

A day in Llangollen after getting there by canal barge culminated in a lunch at the bistro. We had a warm welcome and shown a table overlooking the river Dee. The menu choices were very good although not a vegetarian I decided on having a...veggie burger, which was very nice, but had steak pie envy when my wife’s pie arrived. All the meals served were excellent, and reasonably priced from friendly staff. A must visit again next timeMore

Lovely little cafe overlooking the river. Nice friendly staff and good service. Bacon bap was huge and even came with chips. Prices are good and coffee was nice. Would recommend and visit again.

Lovely quiet evening meal with my husband. Decided to have the Chicken pasta ..it was really tasty with a nice creamy cheese sauce. If you've got room for desert, we can recommend the cheesecake - particularly the blackcurrant one which is locally made for the...bistro .Nice relaxed atmosphere with cozy lighting and great service from the friendly staff team ... service with a smile 😊More

Had dinner here last night. It was our last night on a narrowboat holiday. Had a window seat so could see the river below. Really great food, big portions, great service and not expensive. What more could you want.

We visited Llangollen for a half day and stopped off for lunch at the Deeside bistro. Family run, this eatery is a little gem that makes everyone welcome. The menu is vast and a huge dilemma is picking exactly what to eat. Everything that arrived...for our party of six was delightful and meticulous attention had been paid to the presentation. The bill was sensible too and it is certainly a place we will visit again.More

Having just moved into the area and an impromptu visit from friends, we were looking for somewhere nice but inexpensive to have an early evening meal, fortunately for us we were just outside the Dee Side when it started to rain so that decided for...us, again, fortunately for us a table at the window with a magnificent view was just being vacated. The staff were very professional and polite, when our food arrived it was was beyond our expectations, Lasagne was delicioudMore

Looking for a lunch, we called in and luckily there was room for two. Service was prompt, friendly and the staff knowledgeable. Order was quickly taken. I had a very tasty soup followed by a lovely lemony cheesecake and my wife ordered a tea cake...which was good size. And all good value for money Couldn’t fault this small place in any way and would certainly return.More
