Had lunch here on both days we visited Abergavenny. Not the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for and the food was truly delicious. Unusual ingredients including foraged items really appealed to us. Sitting out in the courtyard was delightful.

I went with my daughter on a day trip to Abergavenny and she had visited The Art Shop and Chapel before, so she booked it for lunch. It wasn't the best of days, weather wise, but still as we walked down the very old steps...More

Had a very good lunch here last week. Intriguing menu, it's good to have to ask what some of the dishes are rather than the same old same old. Food was excellent, freshly prepared and service was very good. Lovely cool dining room which in...More

Lovely cafe in church basement. Very cool ambience, great coffee and a good selection of gluten free treats for me. Closed on Mondays, I think, so will have to wait until tomorrow to go back for more.

We loved our experience, the courtyard is stunning, the food beautifully presented and food organic. We’d highly recommend it.

Coffee is superb and little touches like table water with lemon rind are most welcome. Try the homemade cheese scones...More

Food good, and changes regularly which is nice. They serve home made cordial but it's difficult to see the choices so a table menu would be a nice addition. Been here quite a bit, waiters are hit and miss in attitude which is the only...More

Friendly, relaxed, comfortable and excellent food. It was so good that we ate here twice over the weekend. First time we had sausage sandwiches on sourdough; second time was grilled portobello mushrooms with halloumi, and avocado and goats cheese on toast with wonderful carrot and...More

I’m a coffee snob. I don’t like the tasteless milky soup served up in most chain coffee shops. I need a proper caffeine hit. I need the flavour, the strength, the real stuff. I like it so strong I rarely have more than one cup...More
