Great service, great coffee and fantastic large teacake, full of fruit and cinnamon and so reasonably priced.

Popped in here as we didn't have long before our parking ticket ran out and we just wanted a quick bite. We got served very quickly. Unfortunately my first selection of their Hot spiced apple drink was unavailable so had a pot of Earl Grey instead - impressed with the looseleaf teapot - decent size for once. My husband had... Best cup of coffee we have found in any of the chains we have visited. Very comfortable seating and a good snack selection.

Stopped just for take away coffee; excellent flat white. Next time will stop longer and for food, the welsh cakes looked particularly good!

The coffee was OK far better than Starbucks but not up to Costa standards. The food was again OK and the service was friendly and the staff seemed to be genuine in there help and service.

We love the coffee in Coffee#1 & it's our go to place for a coffee & a chat but this one in Abergavenny tested us. Our simple order of 1 large skinny one shot latte & 1 large vanilla one shot latte was a shambles. First of all the elder lady moaning her colleague about this & that which most... More

We visited Coffee #1 at the weekend as we were in the town for the brilliant annual food fair. We bagged a table in the little seating area upstairs, and went down to order. Despite being probably the busiest weekend of the year in the town, there were only two staff serving, and it was all very disjointed. We ordered... More

Stopped off for a reviving latte after a long session of playing taiko (Japanese drumming) and, as has always been my experience here, was met with friendly and courteous service (and a grand cup of coffee to boot!).

This was my first visit to Coffee #1 in Abergavenny. It was smaller than others I've been to - but quaint all the same. Quite busy on arrival but served quite quickly. Drinks and tea cake were all done in short time. Drinks and tea cake up to coffee #1 high standard. Well done !

Been to the coffee 1 in Monmouth where the staff seem friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Went to Abergavenny 2 people in front of us I went upstairs to get seats . My son came with 2 coffees , after waiting at least 10 minutes. He said the woman member of staff was talking and not attending to... More
