Yet another delicious lunch! Always so warm and a great atmosphere. We're so fortunate to have this place in Abergavenny. 8 oz gammon and roast chicken today were both delicious.

After eating and drinking here for over 25 years we were bound to hit a bum note at some time. unfortunately it was on my daughter's 16th birthday night out. We had booked a table and the six of us were served drinks and the orders for food taken. So far, so good. The three youngsters went for burgers and... More

Didn't fancy anything in the town centre so came out here. I think the Harvester has the edge because of the salad bar but this is a nice setting with friendly staff and god food at good prices. nachos were delicious, fish and chips fine and veggie risotto tasty. Nice lemon possett.

Service was excellent. Good Sunday lunch - decent portions great for families not too expensive, great when you can't be bothered to cook.

My friend and I had a super lunch here. The menu is very interesting but we just wanted a small lunch so opted for basic ham, eggs and chips. The ham was beautiful and plenty of it (in fact my friend took some home), two eggs perfectly cooked and a sensible amount of (i.e. not too many) chips. Service was... More

We've been visiting the Lamb and Flag for years! On our most recent visit this month we had 2 x soups to start and one portion of nachos to share which were all lovely! For mains we had 2 BBQ chickens, a burger and lamb chop all of which we enjoyed! Food arrived quickly and we couldn't fault it! No... More

Popped in on the off chance a table was available as it was and it did not disappoint. Excellent Sunday lunch and very reasonably priced. Would like to return to try the day to day menu.

After calling in for a coffee when out for a drive one day we decided to book a family Sunday lunch, as the food coming out of the kitchen looked so nice. We were not disappointed. The weather was cold and miserable but The Lamb & Flag was warm, welcoming and friendly and the lunch was delicious - and you... More
