Kyffin is my favourite place to have lunch in Bangor, or indeed anywhere else! It's delicious home cooked vegetarian food that is packed with flavour and healthiness. The staff are always so helpful and friendly, and the relaxed, peaceful atmosphere makes this cafe a haven of calm. The choice of loose leaf teas is impressive, and the cake choice includes... More

I love this place. Cozy, great coffee, amazing food. All vegetarian, all fresh. It's hidden away, cute, and just rather nice and peaceful. Soft jazz and world music plays during the daytime. I didn't expect Bangor to have a place like this, but I'm so glad it does. Can be a little expensive if you go all out, but for... More

Popped in for a light lunch late on a Saturday afternoon and found the restaurant to be a wonderful place to sit and relax (newspapers provided) and eat from a varied and healthy selection of home-cooked food. So often disappointed at the 'take it or leave it' afterthought vegetarians are faced with, I was delighted with the menu at Kyffin... More

Lovely staff. Popped in for lunch and a coffee - jewel like displays of salads which we had with a mushroom and tarragon tart. It couldn't have been nicer. Great coffee.

had lunch with my boyfriend, i had the quiche, he had the soup. The portions were huge!!! and all good stuff! It was a shame that nobody spoke welsh there, as kyffin was a famous welsh artist, but a great lunch never the less.

Staff are friendly, food all homemade and absolutely delicious. I have visited on many occasions and it's consistently good. Only a minor comment: the seating could be a little more comfortable.

We visited Kyffin for lunch today with friends who recommended it. What a treat! The meze plate was delicious as was the goats cheese and leek tart that my husband had. He also said that his coffee was the best cup he had had in a while. On leaving I bought some lovely chocolate that I look forward to eating.... More

We stopped here to refuel after a bit of a slog from Caernarfon and before a long train journey home. The ambiance of the place drew us in immediately and we began to relax for the first time that day. The charm of the owner and staff was a significant ingredient. Welcoming, personable, enthusiastic and helpful without being over the... More

We often pop into Kyffin's for lunch and are never let down. Today we had a spiced lentil lasagna. It was accompanied with a beautiful salad. Perfect.
