After a long journey & a walk on Bangor Pier,it was good to find a nearby hostelry for a respite. I had been told t was made attractive for the surrounding University students but,unfortunately that was not the case. Very basic,toilets & urinals(!) unclean,tacky bar....More

In a lovely location next to the pier. Food was inexpensive and good value for money. The staff were very helpful and friendly. will definitely go back again.

We called here by chance and what a lovely surprise. the food was not only inexpensive but well presented well cooked and plentiful. the mixed grill (steak, pork steak, gammon steak, black pudding, mushrooms, tomato and chips) cost £6.90. what a bargain

After a day out we happened upon this pub while visiting the near by pier. We were amazed at the price of both food and drink. It's a real ale pub and we tried the Timothy Taylor Bolthead and some Rosie's Pig cider- both lovely....More

Lovely friendly pub right next to the pier and short distance to Snowdonia, food was lovely and plenty of it, well worth a visit.

There is a monthly open mic night hosted by James Phillips where everyone is invited to go up and perform (usually every third Thursday). This month however it is 14th July.
