When we got there, the lady waiting on us said that she couldn't find our booking details despite my friend booking a table for us the day before, however she then sat us somewhere else anyway. The restaurant wasn't very warm or cosy, if that's what you like but the food was really tasty, staff were friendly and it was... More

Lovely restaurant run by a local family food is fantastic with a varied menu and a taste of Italy in wales nothing too much trouble with the staff happy to sit and have a drink with you at the end of the night. I had a steak with salad and chips I must say it was cooked to perfection 👍👍

We live locally and visit Pulcinella quite frequently. The food is consistently good and we always receive a warm welcome and excellent service.

We ate here on an overnight stop in Bangor, choosing it largely because we were tired and it was very close to our hotel. Stepping inside, it sort of feels like you are in someone's kitchen or dining room. The tables and chairs were very plain and unfussy, more Ikea than anything else. It was quite, no loud music, and... More

Visited recently for a birthday meal, a first time for us all visiting Ristorante Pulcinella. We all only had main courses and as a whole the food was very nice and piping hot. As for the service it really let the experience down. Once finished with mains and had said to the waitress that we did not care for puddings... More

Despite the relatively late evening arrival; you were made welcome, shown swiftly to a waiting table and then provided with a very satisfying evening meal. After a short wait a nice tasty warm Bruschetta al Pomodoro was produced from the kitchen. Next was the splendid main course of Sea Bass with mixed veg and some spuds. All this was washed... More

I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. This is good honest Italian food with no pretensions. A good feature is that even adults can have half-portions (generous) of the main course, which is quite enough in the evening, with a starter, for us elderly folk! 13 dishes (4 starters, 4 mains, 2 sides & 3 desserts) plus... This place is amazing. The food is delicious and it has such a unique atmosphere. It overlooks the pier so great views. It is a fantastic place, has slightly strange opening times and gets full quickly so it is better to get a reservation first.

They only severed a limited amount of food. We cannot order extra dishes apart from the pre-order! What kind of restaurant is this? Food is not impressive at all. Some dishes was tasteless! Not recommend for anyone else!

Wow where do i start.... i know the food! There was a party of eight of us who had pre ordered the food prior to attending. I will cut to the chase here and the food was absolutely awful, how could they justify to send it out. One example of this was the chicken in one meal was having a... More

Tucked away by the Pier, this Italian family run restaurant is a real find. Closed my eyes and I could have been in Naples eating my Calzone with a half litre of very acceptable house red. And what a lovely location. Just such a pity they don't have a terrace to take advantage of the marine location and lovely views. Great value too.
