Stopped for lunch. Had a fantastic burger and some very decadent chips (that neither of us could finish) for just £10 with their lunch menu. Lovely atmosphere, good value and good food.

This was my first visit since its refurbishment and I'm pleased to say it's lost none of its comfy atmosphere. I've not had a Sampsons burger but I might be tempted to give it a go!

Well impressed with the refurbishment, the place looks clean and tidy.Nice selection of drinks. Just a bit puzzled why the staff were clearing away tables and chairs at 7.15 on a Saturday night. It gave the impression that the place was going to close soon.
