good wholesome tasty food but be aware you enter the tea rooms via the stairs so no wheelchair acccess and would be difficult forr disabled

We ate there. Basic menu. Had 4 cups of hot water between the 3 of us. When the bill arrived, we realised we had been charged £1 for each cup of hot water. It was a quarter of the bill !! Cups weren't even big....More

Lovely afternoon tea with homemade carrot cake. Just what was needed on a cold grey Saturday! Very quaint - tables (with tablecloths!) in two small rooms upstairs with baskets for muddy boots. They seem to have thought of everything. Would thoroughly recommend it.
