Well what can I say about this pub? If you haven't been then you're missing out. Located on the main road opposite Windsor Castle this lovely pub has a modern, contemporary feel about it. Well presented friendly staff offer a very varied menu of wonderful food and drinks. Our food was piping hot and freshly made when it arrived and... More

Went to dinner here with my family. They all enjoyed the food including the children. Not far from the Castle.

Windsor was very busy as it was the Jag Festival so we wandered down a side street to find somewhere for lunch. The Duchess of Cambridge was a real find All young staff who were v very chatty and good to chat to. the music on a record player was LP's of 60' music all, being in our latter years... More

I enjoyed a lovely lunch at this pub which is in a great location and seems to be very popular. The food and atmosphere was great and very reasonably priced. My son enjoyed a tasty kids meal which was a large portion and only £5. I had the fish and chips which was massive and very fresh. Highly recommend.

Was walking past this inviting, interesting looking pub. What a gem! Fantastic place with a good selection of reasonably priced beers and a very good menu. There is a normal menu and chefs special. We chose 2 beef and red wine pies which were recommended by the waitress from the normal menu. What a choice! Absolutely brilliant- piping hot snd... More

After an afternoon visiting Windsor Castle, I walked by this pub which is on the circular road that surrounds the castle. It had a brightness about it which separated it from a dark pub including some whimsical blue neon light. The service was excellent and I had the lemon & thyme chicken. Delicious! Dessert was the treacle tart. I mentioned... More

I recently visited the Duchess of Cambridge Pub for sunday lunch with my partner. When arriving, we were told the wait for a table would be 15 minutes which was acceptable and we were advised to grab a drink from the bar and take a seat in the reception area. After witnessing several couples coming in and going straight to... More

Wife and I ate there on a Sunday, expected to make her try a proper sunday roast. Will need to try another time, may be other place in UK, less touristic :) Service was super fast. food was very average, nothing exiting, no wow effect at all. Blunt but a filler and not expensive, Windsor is very touristic, so if... More

Description
The Duchess of Cambridge officially opened on 21 June 2011 after an extensive refurbishment to ensure she was able to carry her Royal name with pride.

And in fact The Duchess of Cambridge pub in Windsor is the only pub in the whole of the world which has the name of the newest member of the Royal family.

Seating almost 120 customers and offering fantastic food, from breakfast through lunch, and on to dinner. Plus a drinks list to match every occasion, including fine wines and ales from our own Whole Hop Brewery in Hertford - The Duchess is the perfect pub for you to rest your Royal or not so Royal legs!

With The Duchess pub just across the road, or should we say cannonball shot away (!) From the Castle, it is a pub that will welcome you as a tourist to the town or as someone who lives and works within the lovely city of Windsor.

Freshly prepared for you at the time you order it. Yes, that is what we do at The Duchess. Guests of our lovely Windsor pub can relax as their food is prepared just they way they like it.

So if you are in need of a quick bite to eat and refreshment in Windsor then we are the perfect stop. And if the clock isn't an issue then we have a selection of starters, mains and desserts to keep you occupied and off the streets for a little while longer.

We look forward to seeing you
