My sisters and I recently decided to try the breakfast menu, after having dropped in on numerous occasions for the lovely coffee and cakes that are always on offer. To say we were not disappointed would be an understatement as every part of the meal and service was outstanding. Locally sourced food, freshly prepared and served with a smile make... More

Having passed this place lots of times on regular shopping trips to Salisbury, my husband & I decided to stop off for lunch on the way home. The menu sounded great, just what you’d expect from a Farm Shop. Unfortunately, the anticipation didn’t live up to the reality. I must agree with previous reviewer’s comments on the Ploughman’s Lunch. Both... More

Dear Fiona, Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience at our Farm Shop, we were very disappointed to hear you were unhappy. We have looked at the ploughman's platter in detail today and had a staff meeting to make sure we are all putting the same portion sizes on the boards and choosing the appropriate board to serve the... Stopped off for lunch with my husband-our 2 dogs were welcome so that's 1 plus point. Second plus point was that the cappuccinos were very good- hot, good size and reasonably priced. Unfortunately that's the only 2 plus points!!! Dirty uncleared tables - it wasn't that busy so no excuse. Waitress was enjoying her lunch in the same area as... More

It is always heartbreaking when you receive a bad review on trip advisor for a small family business such as ours; we would much prefer the customer to inform us at the time. We are so sorry for you experience and would love to you pop in and see us again as we normally have a fab team of staff... More

We stopped for a break on the bikes, not too hopeful as it was almost closing time and a Sunday. Only 'takeaway' service available but we got sausage rolls and a cuppa. OK - it was at farm shop prices but very welcome.

Having been to this farm shop cafe before as we to & fro Wales to Sussex every month and have thoroughly enjoyed our visits before we were somewhat surprised to meet up with what we encountered on this visit, what we had the day before was wonderful the beef, stilton, spinach & horse radish sandwhich, the next day I ordered... Good food. Pleasant, polite service. Sweet potato soup wasn't veggie, but a herby veggie sausage roll did very nicely instead. My bacon quiche was creamy and spot on. OH enjoyed his gravadlax too. Glad to find this place on a route we do regularly.

I discovered this farm shop café en route from Sussex to North Somerst. It has a very pleasant atmosphere with a lovely, roomy café and place to relax, with WiFi. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I bought some honey and lemons in the shop, to prevent colds, and got some useful tips for additions, including ginger, which I was... More

Met a business colleague for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised - really good food and service, and a great deli/farm shop as well. Good venue for coffee/lunch/tea - well located just off the main road, plenty of parking and good value.

We really enjoy this place for food and drink. Very relaxing place to unwind and the food is pretty good too. There are also many goodies to buy and as it is not far from Salisbury, it is ideally situated.
