Went for a spot of lunch with my husband. Food was amazing couldn’t fault however we didn’t manage to eat it all. Drinks also really good and the kids loved it ! Definitely recommend

Unfortunately our booking was cancelled at short notice and no justification given. It's not easy to rebook large events on a tight schedule. My advice to you, dear reader, is to take your personal & business plans elsewhere, preferably to a less fickle establishment that...values its patrons more than sportsball.More

My twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into this bar as we were wandering around this part of town and what a great find. This is a cool looking bar ,its built into the railway spans of railway line above, the interior is cool...,exposed brickwork lovely decor and furnishings a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling canal area . We were here on a Thursday late evening, we were greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the bar team, we ordered a pale ale, served in excellent condition, we just kicked back and soaked up the great vibe in this superb bar . My pale ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced pale ale with a big hit of hops, hints of toffee and a delicious aroma and aftertaste and on a hot evening a totally refreshing brew. We both really enjoyed our pale ale's in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and for a first time visit to this bar we had a great time, its easy to locate along Dark Neville Street and most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.More

I came to the area for first time to meet some friend at Archie's. The venue was really nice with plenty of table outside and inside and many different gins. We were ordering drinks through their app and the drinks were coming extremely quickly. Staff...was very friendly as I approached them a couple of times to ask how to put a mixer for my gin. It started raining so we moved inside and I decided to get a pizza. I was recommended the goat cheese pizza by a friendly male with glasses and I should say that the pizza was spot on. I would definately be coming back on Wednesday to get another one as they also do the discount.More

We visited Archies on the evening of Saturday 1st August. The Stone baked pizzas were delicious and the optional app to order was very straightforward and easy to use (unlike apps used by some other venues) however, the service was disappointing - we felt like...we were an imposition by the just being there, the staff appeared visibly stressed, but spent a relatively large amount of time chatting to each other, including while pizzas sat waiting to be delivered to their tables. The most concerning element of our visit was the younger male server kept taking his face covering off and on and not sanitising his hands in between. I appreciate they may be uncomfortable, however the other staff didn't seem to have the same issues.More

We came on a Saturday night around 7pm when it was busy. We hadn’t booked so didn’t expect to get a table but as we approached, there was no staff on the door to let us know if they were full or not. We walked...in past the bar and found a table to sit on. No one came to see us or take our drinks orders or anything, and obviously at the moment people aren’t supposed to go to the bar so we were sat waiting confused and ignored. The staff were busy but not crazy busy. It just seemed that the set-up was poorly equipped and insufficiently organised for a Saturday night which is a shame as every other bar and restaurant has seemed to manage it. We waited for 15 minutes for someone to come over but they never did so we just left & won’t be returning.More

Our first time out since lockdown, and we were rather cautious, to say the least. We needn't have worried. The whole experience made us feel totally safe, from the well spaced outside tables, to having our temperatures taken on arrival. The staff were ace, wearing...visors and being very careful to maintain social distancing. Great selection of pizzas and a pint of cold Estrella went down a treat. I will definitely return, and recommend it.More

The food was ok, the gluten free options were a little lack luster but the alcahol more than made up for it. Waitress were friendly and attentive.

Walked her from the jury’s hotel after eating here 5 years ago and remembering it to be nice. Good choice of lagers. Estrella and Morretti my choice. I ordered bbq pizza and fries. Didn’t take too long for the food to come and when it...did realised I was going to struggle eating it all as portions were huge. Pizza was really tasty. Bbq sauce had a tingle lips tang to it. Fries really tasty too. Despite my efforts I couldn’t finish it all and left totally stuffed. Glad of the 15 minute walk to my hotel to work some of it off. Hopefully won’t be as long till I’m back again.More

Came here for a quick and easy dinner and football on the screens. I had a bbq chicken pizza which was nice but way too much bbq sauce. Loaded fries were lovely and the hot dog was deemed lovely by hubby. Decent beers and gins....I had a couple of cocktails that weren’t great - way too Much flavoured syrup turning my usual favourite Tom Collins into a very sweet and thick purée type drink. Nice location and lovely staff so definitely worth a visit.More
