This was our first visit and it will be our last! What we can only describe as 'the manageress' was very unwelcoming, rude and we felt like an inconvenience. Wish we had gone to Stansted Park Pavillion which is far nicer! On entering the cafe, we were asked where we would like to sit. We opted for outdoors, as there... More

My family and I visited this lovely Café for Breakfast for Mother's Day. It is tucked away surrounded by the beautiful countryside. We did book ahead as there were 10 of us, good job we did as it did get very busy, but this could be due to it being Mothering Sunday. The Staff were very attentive and nothing seemed... More

Stumbled across this place as driving past. Very quaint, lovely sounding lunch menu. We ordered the burger and chef's salad. I really enjoyed the salad and my other half enjoyed his burger. Staff very friendly. My boyfriend ordered an organic juice with raspberries off the menu. Was disappointing to see that he instead got a raspberry and apple J20 -... More

We paid a visit to this place during our Sunday morning Bike ride with a bunch of friends. we arrived a good 30 minutes before the opening but the nice lady (we assume it was the supervisor) let us in anyway and took our drinks order. The older lady serving us after that was not lacking personality or confidence, but... More

Went fro lunch on Saturday. A good choice of light meals, which was more than suffice plus a few specials. The cheesecake was just perfect. Would strongly recommend.

We pre booked a Sunday lunch here as we were visiting nearby and I had heard it was a lovely place to stop for tea and cake; when I looked up the details I saw they had lunch too. We also wanted to mention we had two dogs. Upon arrival I was a little surprised when the person greeting us... More

Stumbled across this cafe whilst visiting the saddlery next door. The surroundings were lovely and the food was of a good standard. I do however think it was expensive for what it was. We didn't find out until after that the cupcakes were £3 each, I thought that was quite a lot considering they were tiny.

We visited here wanting a quick full English after spending a few hours driving, I am a frequent visitor next door and to the vets at the rear so I'd always wanted to give it a go. Well, I can safely say we won't be returning. There was one table remaining downstairs when we arrived, we were handed menus and... More

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The slice of cake was far too large. It is a little off the beaten track, but worth hunting down.
