We booked this restaurant while we stayed for one night in the area. The building is very nice and we like the fact that there are little areas of seating spread all through the building. We very much enjoyed the salad bar as a starter....More

I do like to come here to eat. I find the best option is to have a starter and the salad as a main, keeps the price down and plenty of food! You can ask for a big plate for the salad (I think about...More

OK sort of place for a spur of the moment meal out or for a party that includes children. Wouldn't there for a planned night out. Having said that its good value for money and the salad bar is good. Also good for a breakfast.

I visited with M and J and their two little ones for a midweek lunch. This pub must have been an old coaching inn as the building is really old and higgledy-piggledy. This means there are lots of corners to sit in and it didn't...More

It hasn't changed and has had low standards for 18 months now.....its a shame because it is in a good position and could be so much more....but they seem to ignore the constant bad reviews!!

Haven't been recently so can't comment on the refurbishment. Having said that, the whole building was looking very scruffy last time we went, particularly furniture, carpets etc.
