Been a regular for a while now and always have decent food with decent service, they always have a smile and a joke to tell, would recommend to anyone, they also do a offer of when you spend £5 you get a stamp on your card of which you can use as cash, give it a try guys!!

Out of any Coventry chip shop this is still the one we go to. Even when we lived in Kenilworth, we always went that extra further to get the best chips from here. Always friendly & polite staff and of course great food!

This used to be one of the best fish and chip shops in Coventry, but it hasn't been updated in about 20 years. Real shame as the quality has definitely dropped over that time. Fish and chips average rather than good now. The chip shop in Green Lane, Finham is much better now

I decided to go to the chip shop as we were at Walsgrave hospital all day and didnt want to cook. I made the mistake of going to "Frydays" and was met by a woman who would be best suited to a funeral palour. Cold chips and when I had the courage to look at them and question her she... More

I have lived by this fish and chip shop for 20 years and have never come home disappointed. The food is always fresh and the chips are always spot on. They also do a range of pies, burgers and kebabs, along with the usual cod, haddock, row ect++ plus meal deals. It's all reasonable prices (sometimes I think they should... More

I rarely go into Frydays. It's not the most inspiring shop front. The internal decor is rather old fashioned. But it's a chip shop so I guess you get what you see Food was ok and service was ok. Not really smiling staff and the customers in the queue looked decidedly non-plumb. My chips were hot and the pie was,... More

If a chip shop cannot get chips right there is something seriously wrong. Maybe this was a isolated incident but the chips were almost completely inedible. Tastes stale and were too crispy. The staff / owners looked uninterested and scruffy, no aprons or real uniform.

I use this chippy at least once a week as its local to me and after a couple of pints at the pub over the road, it fits the bill. Myself and my partner generally have the same thing but deviate sometimes and the daughter always has something different, I have to say, we have never had bad food or... More

Chips are always greasy...guessing that the fat isn't hot enough. Save yourself a trip and go to Green Lane chippy instead
