Reserved a table via open table. Warm welcome and greeted personally by the manager. Amazingly tasty traditional Indian food - so much better than the curry house in our locality. Generous portions.

My wife and I visited on 13/11/2017 out and had a fantastic meal. It was a first class Indian restaurant, very sophisticated but equally friendly. The food was delicious and the service impeccable and I would happily recommend it to anyone.

Great restaurant with lovely food, my personal favourites are the Rajasthani tikka, papdi chaat and chicken Balti, mocktails are great too my only issue was that it took too long to come out despite the restaurant not being at it's full capacity

I made a reservation for 13 people and when we arrived we were kindly greeted and followed to our table. Our reservation was at 7:30 p.m. and we stayed 'til almost closing (approximately 10:15/10:30 p.m.) but never felt rushed. The restaurant itself was beautiful and...More

Itihaas is a stunning restaurant where contemporary meets traditional. No expense has been spared in achieving this, and as you step into this two million pounds restaurant, you will certainly see just that. The decor is clean and crisp with plate glass and slate finished walls. This smart and sophisticated interior is complimented by the 18th and 19th century Indian artefacts, including original paintings, carved stone elephants and 300 year old doors. Downstairs, the Maharaja Suite which also seats 80 is luxurious with opulent mood lighting and decorated with more Indian treasures. To complete the real ambience, behind 300 year old Indian wooden doors is the Tiffin Room which seats 12, complete with a bar, library and your very own dedicated butler!Cuisine in this fine establishment is created by award winning chefs and staff who come from Indian Five-Star Hotel backgrounds. They have a single aim - to be able to deliver the authentic Royal Indian dining experience to its patrons with utmost courtesy and hospitality. The menu will take you on a culinary journey through the North of India with a couple of stops through Kenya and vibrant Mumbai. At this royal eatery, indulgence is paramount.
