This is a great pub - the beer is excellent. However, the menu has been revised and it is a little lacking in imagination compared to the previous offering. Hopefully, things will revert.

incredibly good pub, huge variety of drinks to sample and drink, staff are extremely friendly, food is top draw and its all reasonably priced! Also, the beer garden is brilliant to use in the summer with an outside bar and table tennis table.More

Easily one of the best Sunday lunches in brum! All the stuff are great and always make you feel welcome. Also fantastic place to visit fri/sat nights and bank hols - the garden had a great atmosphere with DJs and bar in the garden.More

The Lord Clifden (UAB) is a true free house with a difference. Situated in the Jewellery Quarter, we are highlighted in both the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2015 and the Good Pub Guide. In the last 3 years, we've received 5 Observer Monthly food awards; 2012 national runner up in the Observer Monthly food awards and regional winner for the Midlands. 2013 We repeated the success with another 2 'runners up' awards: 'Best Place to Drink' and 'Best Sunday Lunch' 2014 regional runners up for 'Best Place to Drink' & Best Sunday Lunch' In 2014, we were awarded 'Best Community Pub' for the West Midlands & Wales region in the Great British Pub Awards.
