Nice bread and roasted garlic, decent starter of ravioli, but the ‘surf and turf’, salad was straight out of a supermarket sealed pack with no dressing ? Crushed potatoes were next to uncooked, steamed veg was just that steamed. No seasoning or herbs/spices. Turf portion...More

We first booked Anderson's for our son's graduation meal in 2014. As we are not from Birmingham we relied totally on reviews to make our choice and were not disappointed . When he graduated with his Masters in 2016, we looked at different restaurants online...More

Steaks were great, as were the sauces. I recommend the port and blue cheese - not too strong so complemented the fillet beautifully. Veg a little unimaginative, but then you go for the steak. Tuna sashimi starter was really delicious and we had a great...More

Situated on St Pauls Church square, Andersons Bar and Grill is found in the interesting surroundings of former 18th century cellars. However this restaurant is as far from a dingy basement bar as it is possible to be lush, sophisticated dcor brings light and space to the brick arched room, changing displays of art is displayed on the walls and theres a definite buzz to the atmosphere. With a dedication to providing great value food in a relaxed setting along with top quality service, Andersons Bar and Grill is already making its mark on the local dining scene. The food, sourced locally is of course hearty grill fayre but presented with a touch of class so even old favourites such as Barnsley chop or grilled plaice are actually rather special.
