Celebrated with the taster menu and fine wines, food outstanding and service excellent. Have eaten in more than quite a few fine dining restaurants and done many taster menu's this is definitely one of the best. Small restaurant but makes it very intimate and comfortable, would definable eat here again and highly recommend this restaurant.

Fancy smancy restaurant. All the seasoned men had hard-bottomed shoes and collared shirts on and all the seasoned woman wore heels. Then two groups who appeared to be under age 35 must have knew what we figured out--this fancy place surprisingly has reasonable prices. One of the under age 35 group had 'nice' t-shirts and soft-sole shoes. My Spouse and... More

Not been to Edmunds in a while but boy, so glad we returned! Attending a concert at the Symphony Hall, we decided to try the menu du jour which is a special menu for early diners - it is absolutely fabulous, great food, well presented, lovely sized portions for us as we don't like loads on the plate and the... Went here for a pre theatre meal with my husband. As we were booked in at 6pm there was only one other table being used when we arrived but it soon filled up. The staff are very friendly and it has a nice relaxed feel about it. Food choice is good and the portion sizes just right for me (I... More

Edmunds Restaurant Is smart, tasteful and comfortable. An immediate ambiance greets the guests and the sense of space is remarkable given it's actually quite a small restaurant. There is a hugely welcome lack of pretentiousness about Edmunds and an enticing à la carte menu! (I'm not a big fan of tasting menus). The highest standards of culinary skills are shown... More

Booked for an early evening meal - chose from their Menu de la jour, choice of three starters and mains and then any dessert from their main menu. Available if arrive before 18.15pm. Can recommend the goat nougat starter and the guinea fowl main. The desserts all sounded lovely chose the Chocolate and cherry eclair. Everyone looked after us well... More

I've wanted to come to Edmunds ever since I moved to Birmingham 3 years ago, but never did as I have always heard such mixed reviews. However, after a few drinks in town we, off the cuff, decided to go for something to eat as we were in the area. So glad we did, service is very good and food... More

Perhaps this review is partially clouded by the fact we just got engaged - but really this evening at Edmunds was the most perfect dining experience we have had in the midlands - it really took us back to being in France! The staff were attentive and informative without being stuffy - happy to explain things (like the wine!) that... More

Superb scallop starters and then for main my two friends had the seabass and I had the steak. Seabass came out beautifully presented yet my ribeye steak was just massive that looked like something from the beefeater. I know the restaurant can't please everyone but I assumed this is a fine dining restaurant and I would have liked something a... More
