The Roebuck is such a nice pub, warm, friendly, plenty of space and some lovely meal options. This time we had a lovely warming beef dish with mash, delicious and welcoming on a cold day. We were stuffed full, but the desserts looked amazing and if the nice young man who cleared our plates had asked us instead of sailing... More

My wife's favourite pub in Warwick. Good food and service. Lovely venue and good service. And you can watch sports in a small area of the bar. Real old good pub

On a very cold January night, the Roebuck was warm and welcoming. As were the staff - couldn't be better. Food (we all had fish n chips with mushy peas - one had sweet potato chips) was average: fish a tiny bit over cooked and batter didn't have a real crunch. Decent choice of beers (mine was a bit cold,... More

Met up with another couple of friends for a get together mid week lunch and picked this old pub based on recommendation and being a bit away from the main rush of town. Good choice! Whilst a very old pub the interior has been tastefully modernised. It was not so busy,, so difficult to really test the service, but for... More

So, a 13:00 reservation had mains delivered to the table at 14:15, wholly unacceptable with no logical reason for the delay. We arrived on time, the drinks order was taken promptly, the food order was taken promptly, the delay and lack of communication were so unacceptable. The starters, delivered in reasonable time, were average. The service was well below par,... More

Staying in Warwick for a night I ventured out and found the Roebuck. A selection of hand pulled ales were available including the tasty Roebuck ale brewed for the pub. I then had a baked camembert starter served with warm, home made bread and a sirloin steak - cooked as requested and fries. All very good and for starter, main... More

I went with 4 colleagues on a work night out. So you might say "Hey if we're not paying who cares?" But the acid test is would I spend my own money in here? Too right I would it was superb. Service, food, atmosphere were all top notch. If you have a bad meal in here then something has gone... More
