I reviewed this restaurant last time I visited Stratford, commenting that I was looking fwd to returning, which I accomplished today. As hoped for everything was very good. My purpose in another review is an incident which occurred as I was leaving. A young lady was delivering the restaurant order of fresh veg on a hand cart. I don't know... More

We received warm welcome when we visited Deli Café for lunch on New Year’s Eve. It seems a popular, bustling place with a vast menu. I went for the traditional breakfast and my friend went for the Cottage Pie. Both were served piping hot and the ingredients were top quality. A great big pot of tea. We enjoyed a leisurely... More

I love breakfast. It really is the best meal of the day, so when I looked on line for a good place to eat during my stay, the Deli Cafe seemed head and shoulders above the rest. Upon arrival, I seated myself at a table and was almost immediately presented with the menu. Research had meant I knew exactly what... More

An English TV programme, the 'Fabulous BakerBrothers', that I watched in Laos in September this year introduced me to this William Shakespeare's birthplace by inventing a 'Melter Belter' for Jean at the Deli Cafe. I wanted to try it here but completely forgot about the name until I ended up sitting in front of the poster. I talked to the... More

The food was good, no problem at all. The reason we only rated 3 stars that there doesn't seem to be any extractor fans in the kitchen, so as it's open plan into the side room where we sat, we left absolutely stinking of cooking. All clothes including coats had to go in the washing machine when we got home.

A welcoming place situated in the centre of town and is run by a family team who clearly do all their own cooking. The two rooms for seating are slightly on the small side and it is possible at busy times to not get in without waiting, but it is worth it. We have not ever seen a menu so... More

Recently visited Deli Cafe, staff very accommodating and moved tables to fit 7 of us in. Offered gluten free options. 3 cheese quiche was one of the best I have had and served with warm new potatoes , salad and coleslaw. Just perfect. Busy but worth it.

Visited for breakfast and have to say it was one of the best English breakfasts I have had in a long time, quality produce, cooked beautifully and served promptly by a very pleasant young man! Would recommend if you happen to be visiting Stratford upon Avon.
