Popped in here late doors early January following an evening on the razz in Stratford....... Absolutely charming pub, friendly staff and good Ale. The interior complemented its age (1470 I believe) with tankards, cutlasses, bust of Shakespeare etc, very charming but it was the leather...More

Traditional English tavern with friendly staff and really good food. They also offer kids portions and have a very nice environment.

The old thatch tavern is very crowded because it is the oldest pub in Stratford on Avon. I was disappointed that we could not sit and talk because it was so crowded and so loud. My husband enjoyed his traditional English room temperature pull beer.

Lovely place. Booked a table for 4 adults and a baby, arrived and table all set up with a high chair. Brilliant. Food was very tasty and good portion size too. Room and table beautifully decorated, loved it.

Authentic pub grub served in a friendly atmosphere. If you like a good old-fashioned mixed grill then this one's for you. It's about a 10 minute gentle walk from the the RSC (which is great for Shakespeare but not too good for food!).

We visited this pub whilst spending the evening in Stratford and having imagined the town to contain traditional inns with beamed ceilings and an open fire, we found this place and weren't disappointed. A lovely inn to enjoy a drink for a few hours whilst...More
