I'm shocked at the attitudes of the staff and management in this restaurant... I ordered crispy noodles, in them was a moulded pepper(soft and rotted) without realising it was off I eat it.. I spat it out nearly felt sick. I spoke to the staff who brushed me off then management came over started raising his voice "nothing wrong with... More

Don't be put off by the café style look or the express name. For me this is Chinese food at it's best, they do 'our' Chinese and 'real' Chinese dishes. I have never had a problem with service or speed of delivery with my order. They don't do alcohol but normal soft drinks etc. There are always Chinese people in... More

Thought we would try this cafe style restaurant as we had read some reviews, it was just alright. Soups took ages to arrive, chicken and sweet corn was nice but hot and sour soup was not hot but pretty sour, soups came at different times. Ordered crispy beef, got crispy chicken, but not crispy. Looks authentic, with a lot of... More

Small establishment with a fine menu. I ordered sweet sour soup, shredded crispy chilli beef and chicken balls sweet and sour. Wonderful flavours and the freshest ingredients. Preparation of food is viewable through the glass. No credit/debit cards cash only did catch me out but there's an ATM round the corner. The majority of customers were Asian and in conversation... I ordered 'sweet and sour chicken balls with rice' and received battered chicken cantonese. Since I live in Gosforth and collected this I couldn't exchange the meal (as I was home) however I rang the manager to let him know I received the wrong meal. He was incredibly aggressive, swearing at me and literally screaming down the phone!! The food... More
