I feel blessed to live in Heaton, the most benign of Newcastle districts. More so, because half a mile from my house is the wonderful Caffé Zonzo. Great food, warm atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. And run like well-oiled clock by the witty and wise...More

Been coming here for years. It's really got a lovely, friendly, unpretentious atmosphere with great staff. The food is always excellent: pizza, pasta, seafood, chicken or steak. The pizza is definitely as good as the newer 'award winning' place not too far away from here,...More

Nice restaurant, the staff were friendly and helpful advising me on what they could adapt for me as I’m vegan. There were a few options that I could have. I had mushroom pasta which was really nice.

Spotlessly clean, well trained staff, reasonably priced and excellent menu and unbelievably inexpensive cocktails. Been going for many years. Well worth a visit.

Lovely decor, eschewing the usual lobster pots and chianti bottles with candles in. Food is outstanding, differing from the usual Italian restaurant fayre. Sardinian flatbreads are a delight.
