One of a few spots friends and I use to catch up. Lovely location, seats available on the ground floor and below, though you may have a 10-15 minute wait if you visit around lunch time. Huge selection of teas, you'll get 3 cups from an individual pot. I usually go for 'Minty Good'. Meals and desserts are of good... More

Really unimpressed from start to finish. We were sent downstairs to sit on "the sofas in the back" when we went down, it was a short table with 4 cushions round it?? The only reason we came here was to have a delicious scone with our tea. None left - even though when I went to pay there was a... More

Lovely place to eat and/or drink a cup of tea/coffee (it's mostly a tea, but that's what a teahouse is for). So, lot's of teas to choose from. They serve this in a small teapot for 1 person. It looks adorable! They also serve food, which is really good too. The service is great and very friendly. You might want... More

I chose here because of the positive reviews, Overrated in terms of service, staff seemed harassed and flustered, it was around 11am. The cafe was fairly busy, I wouldn't say overly. The tea menu I felt was average along with the food offering. I just expected more, I also felt the decor and cleanliness was shabby. Sorry but I left... More

What better way is there to start or end a shopping trip? A restaurant full of charm and quirks (and that is just the owners!); a fantastic range of teas (as you would expect) but also coffees, cakes and hot meals from an eclectic menu. I can't recommend this place highly enough - it is, in itself, sufficient excuse for... More

What an amazing place! A truly remarkable ambiance, totally cool staff and a fantastic menu............ Made my first visit yesterday - was struggling with the range of teas, explained that I was a 'builders tea' sort of bloke and was directed towards the Assam - wow - and, as for the oxidants! Thanks guys, I know what to ask for... More

Visited about 7.00 on Saturday evening which apparently is a good time to go as it can be very busy during the day. I had orange cake made with almond flour and a pot of Special Earl Grey tea which came in an individual teapot giving three cups of tea in a china cup and saucer with plates to match.... More

Visited at around 12 on a Sunday. Quickly shown to a table in the basement area; comfy sofa and coffee table. Ordered stottie, one ham and cheese and one with beef. Both came with a substantial leaf salad, dressed with a tasty dressing, and some new potatoes. Had a drink of mango royale tea which was divine. Cute and quirky... More

Great teas, free cinema room and lots of cosy corners to settle in. Haven't tried the food but it looked good.
