Stopped here for breakfast, had a full English with a proper sized cup of tea. Super friendly staff and very attentive. Food is of a very high standard. Would come again.

Visited this café about 10 to 4 on Monday afternoon, hoping for a bite to eat and a coffee. Kitchen closed alas. So headed off elsewhere. Won't be back.

No bigger than a large kitchen this place produces the most amazing breakfast at great value. The Eggs Benedict is a masterpiece.

Third visit, and never been disappointed. First time I've had the Eggs Benedict, and they were superb. Friends with me also loved their Stotties. What really makes the place for me is the service. The waitress/manageress is charming, friendly, efficient, and a real tonic on a cold morning. Well done, and don't change.

We found this fabulous cafe when in need of a good full English breakfast on a lazy Sunday. The place was busy from the moment we arrived to when we left but they did not turn anyone away and we were impressed how they kept all customers happy . Food was excellent, along with the service. Would strongly recommend. This... More

Amazing food , filthy wall by counter, milk container not clean(reused) little dark inside, we had the wrong meal given, cleared plates whilst someone was still eating, prices on the board are misrepresented at cheaper, was told that manager had been told this numerous times ( consumer rights?) , heard other complain bill was wrong . I personally don't like... More

We've been meaning to go here for ages, but it's always been too busy and hubby won't wait! Anyway, went on a cold and wet morning and managed to get seated straight away. We both had the full English, plus coffee. Delicious, hot and tasty. Service was efficient and friendly. Only negative was that the customer toilet could have done... More

For all intents and purposes this is a greasy spoon cafe but with an updated interior and menu... The latter promises modern-day classics such as French toast, eggs benedict et al, whilst the interior has been done out with subway tiles/mismatched industrial style furniture. I can't say too much for the food as I only had a croissant, which I... More

The menu here is nicely varied with even the eggs benedict available with a choice of bacon, smoked salmon, Parma ham, or spinach. I had the bacon version and it was lovely served up with a large, not overly expensive Americano. It's not a large place but it's very quaint and still manages two sofas in the bay windows either...
