Tiny place so you'll almost certainly have to wait if its a peak time. The food was really good (5 star) but the coffee was remarkably poor, like they were using coffe ground for caffetiere in the espresso machine, under extracted, weak, and thin (tried...More

Visited for breakfast with a friend as had heard so much about this place. Surprised at how busy it was on a weekday morning. Very small but loved the place. Staff were friendly. Food was excellent. Lovely coffee. I will certainly be back to work...More

Had a lovely breakfast here last Saturday . They are very well organised and although they were very busy you didn't mind waiting because they have the situation in hand . So if you visit and don't think you will get a table trust them...More

As a coelaic I must eat gluten free. Great to have a choice for a lovely breakfast this weekend. We had delicious eggs benedict. They'd no gf flour for pancakes but we'd no room left. Next time!!

About the best full English I've encountered, plus a dozen different variations of egg based snacks . Great coffees and juices, and a cosy atmosphere.

A quick stop on a Sunday morning walk along the Quayside. Very welcoming staff matched by the warmth of the other customers. Home made Granola “banoffee style” was really good. Tempted by the Eggs Benedict. Perhaps next time?

Called to the Quay Ingredient for brunch on Saturday whilst staying in Newcastle. I had the kippers which were so tasty. All the staff we saw were all friendly and polite, a very quaint cafe serving delicious food.

Nope. This is a response to another person's review. When someone asks a question on TripAdvisor, everyone who has reviewed an establishment is invited to answer it. I couldn't find a way to challenge an unreasonable review... More
