Great Sunday lunch at the pub, freezing cold outside but the dog was more than happy roasting by the fire. Food was excellent I had the large fish cakes and hubby had a cheese toasty with a side of chips. The roast dinner looked good...More

Visited for lunch on New Year’s Eve and was not disappointed! Very reasonably priced and the fish and chips were incredible! It’s a lovely traditional pub, with friendly staff can’t recommend enough

There’s so many things I love about this pub. It’s a genuine boozer with no pretence. The people who work there are friendly, helpful and good fun and they know their stuff. The food is consistently amazing - whether it’s a pub classic, a home...More

Excellent food - the fish and chips was best ever according to my husband who is an authority. He also said that the Green King IPA beer was great. I enjoyed the beetroot and pumpkin seed falafel and the Sauvignon Blanc. Definitely recommended!

Meal was Belly Pork, the meat was very stringy, few vegetables and expensive. Service was pleasant but slow. The whole place isa bit tatty and in need of a refurb to justify the pricey drinks and food..
