Whilst visiting Aldeburgh, we were looking for somewhere for lunch and read the menus on the tables outside the cafe, which offered some great choices. We were not disappointed! The menu is very fish based, with some excellent signature dishes and salads. Locals and visitors alike were being served, and the meals came quickly and were excellent. Sadly I was... More

Super for morning coffee and fabulous lunch. Family friendly and dog friendly. Easy to reserve a table. Suggest you do as it is popular. Bought things from the deli part, very yummy! Well done for running a relaxed and extremely good venue for food plus atmopsphere!

From the fish we buy for our Saturdays evening meal to Sunday breakfast and the lovely coffee visiting the "Market" makes a special weekend for us. The kedgeree is my weekend breakfast treat. The staff are excellent and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone.

This is rapidly becoming a Lynchpin of Aldeburgh dining. Open relatively early in the morning for a relaxed breakfast with the papers. The menu offers classics such a Kippers or Kedgeree alongside the toast and jam or eggs Benedict options. We always seem to end up having the smoked fish kedgeree with a poached egg, mango chutney and raita. Absolutely... More

This was our second visit, and we shall return!! Excellent fresh Sea Bass and Cod, presented and cooked well. This is a cosy restaurant on the main street, where the staff were very efficient and friendly.

Met the other half for a Friday lunch and were very lucky to get the last table in the restaurant. Although very busy the staff were attentive and the food was excellent. Started with bread, olives & hummus followed by an intermediate course of scallops, shared between the two of us, great presentation. I finished with the singapore noodles with... More
