Hubby and i stopped for a bite on way to cathedral. It looked a bit run down but the menu looked good so we gave it a go. We both had a fry up which was very nice. The staff are friendly and it looked rather popular whike we where there.

Squid and chorizo bruschetta as a starter was very nice. The meza starter for 2 was very ample and filling but a little bland. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and the chips were homemade. The Bath ale went down well too. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was excellent. I would definitely go back.

A very pleasant evening. A lovely ambience, it was quite quiet when we went on a Tuesday evening which suited us and we were well looked after. The lamb tangible was a beautifully balanced dish which followed some memorable Parmesan puff pastry straws. A side dish of Harissa paste enabled one to add the heat as wanted. Well worth a... More

My daughter and I had visited the beautiful cathedral but felt a hole in our stomach. Wells is very touristic and we left the main road for less main-stream venues. Beah is nothing special but an honest place to have a lunch or dinner for an honest price. The venue is well, not exceptional. Service is very attentive but too... More

My son and I visited and were going to chose from the specials menu which is very reasonably priced at £12 a head fo 2 courses. The starters were perfect. We were told that the venison had not been delivered but we could have steak instead. So we did. My sons was cooked perfectly at medium rare yet my rare... More

Family lunch at this cafe/restaurant just off the high street in Wells city centre. It is conveniently located near car park. Had meze for two as a starter which was tasty and varied. The chicken tangine was delicious. Nice spice and beautifully tender. The lamb tangine was good -but meat not as tender. However, I would recommend this place for... More

A very varied menu for lunch, including a variety of middle-eastern dishes, freshly cooked British food and sandwiches. Pleasant surroundings and reasonable prices with waitress service.

Tucked away in Union Street an authentic Moroccan experience with knowledgeable owner. Excellent food, well presented by attentive owner and staff. The shared Mezze offered a wide selection of tastes to start the meal served with pitta bread. The Lamb and Fish Tagines were flavoursome and cooked beautifully, leaving little room for a nice selection of puddings and cheese. A... More

We were looking forward to sampling Moroccan inspired food. However, despite a really friendly warm welcome and good service, we were disappointed with the food which lacked spice and was rather crude in presentation. However, the main disappointment was that the restaurant had been hired out for a large young people's birthday party and noise levels were unacceptable. Basically, the... More
