Saturday night in the Bocabar with my better half. Shared a meat mezze to start which was splendid. For mains we had the pan roasted chicken and the steak. Both were full of flavour and very tasty. Sadly we didn't have pudding as we were...More

The food was lovely, I tend to like plain pub grub but I was really impressed with the food here. I did regret not ordering the steak as it was the nicest steak I've tasted in years, I tried to get my wife to swap...More

Sorry you didn't like our vegan burger. We've now changed it to a beetroot, chickpea and bean burger, in a toasted bap with gem lettuce, pickles, dill and vegan mayonnaise. The burger comes with fries as well for £12.50.

We stayed at the local Premier Inn which is about 3 minutes walk from this well-hidden gem. I would recommend making it more noticeable from the outside, especially at night, as it's such a lovely place and could easily be bypassed. The food was delightfully...More

Lovely atmosphere. Food was rather arty small portions for the money. Chocolate brownie was very dry and bitter but it was packed and very busy so they did well.

Visited with quite a big group and we were catered for exceptionally well. There were so well organised for such all large party. Food was very good. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Not sure why the bar closed at 11.30 when there was a band playing. All...More

the menu is great here, including vegetarian and vegan dishes. Their bouillabaisse is excellent, the raspberry chocolate tart was out of this world. It's a busy place but the staff are attentive and responsive. On a cold day, sitting by a radiator was perfect.

The service was good but they were very busy so they gave us bread, olives, dips and humus on the house while we waited. I loved my Vegetarian main course and my dessert was delicious

Staff here are so lovely, friendly and very efficient. My starter was delicious - a garlic crouton topped with horseradish and perfectly cooked slices of rump steak - highly recommend it. Sadly my seafood stew let the side down - much much too salty, tongue...More
