A really friendly and lively pub. Very welcoming people. Live music. Welcomes dogs. Adorable resident cat too. Food looked good but we didn't eat there.

I've reviewed the Hawthorns before. I've stayed there a few times now. It's a great, friendly hotel/pub. The food is excellent, prepared with good ingredients and with care and attention. Lots of people have mentioned the Curries. I'm going to as well. All the curries...More

Really liked the whole experience Friendly staff really relaxed atmosphere- a good local pub and very authentic. Great scrumpy cider - no hangover the next day either. Good central location Can see why my mate likes drinking there I would if I lived in Glastonbury.

Second time at Hawthorns and this time for a late lunch. Had a baked potato with an abundance of filling and plenty side salad. Delicious and kept hunger away until much later on that night. Definitely be back on my next trip to Glastonbury.

I just love eating here. Curries that are just sublimely good unusual, detailed, flavoursome & superb. Always a warm welcome. Sometimes there's music, always good beer. Superbly Chief'd by patron Simon.
