We took a chance on this restaurant based on the reviews and we were glad we did. The restaurant was busy but the friendly staff were happy to fit us in. There was good choice on the menu and the food was very tasty. We would definitely be happy to go back.

Sub- street level Nepalese restaurant about 5 minutes walk from the station. A surprisingly jolly bar is the first thing that you see before you are led into the inner sanctum. Plenty of ethnic decor in the main restaurant but the white walls probably make it seem barer than it is. Ample space between the somewhat spartan tables. Seemed to... More

The restaurant is tucked down in the basement which gives some peace and quiet from the noise of the Christmas markets and the shoppers above. My partner thought the service was slow, but I liked that we were left to eat and talk without being interrupted. This is probably a place to sit and relax over a long lunch rather... More

Busy Xmas markets didn't want to be too crowded. One of the marketers recommended this Nepalese place and gosh was he right. Clean, tasty, wholesome. We had the chicken in spicy gravy and the pork sag aloo with beans and cabbage. I am raving. This was really the best thing I have eaten this year, if not ever!

My girlfriend and I had never eaten at Nepalese restaurant before and were recommended to the restaurant by at taxi driver. We chose the set menu as well as a lovely ginger drink. The food was really different to anything we'd had before but really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere, the food and service was brilliant.

Four of us visited Bath and came to Yak Yeti Yak for a different experience. We had never tried Nepalese food and certainly weren't disappointed. We didn't book but were fortunate to get a table for floor in their cushioned areas. Sitting on the floor really added to the whole dining experience. The food was delicious- fragrant and aromatic but... More

My partner and I were looking for something different to try and we found this Nepali restaurant in Bath. We came quite early on Saturday and we were alone - not for a long time, I must say. We sit on a cushion - there are also tables with chairs but we thought the cushion-sit-like was gonna help to get... More

Was a little unsure when husband picked this restaurant as I've never tried Nepalese food but we were pleasantly surprised. Food is delicious, kind of like Thai but without the curry sauces? Very tasty. I would come back for sure, and recommend this place highly.

We visited on a rainy Saturday evening for a family birthday and were quickly seated in a warm and authentically decorated room. Whilst a little cosy, it was not cramped and our food and drink orders quickly taken. The service was friendly and the food was delightful. We also treated ourselves to pudding and highly recommend the dark chocolate ice... More

I have visited an few Nepalese restaurants before, and they all have great food, staff, and character plus you get the best rice of any curry house, went early and there was a good number of diners already there, a good sign the restaurant is in a basement setting slightly away from the main part of the city so it... If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.
