YYY (Yak Yeti Yak) was one of those places people kept saying to me -" have you been yet". Well we had walked by it and we had thought it looked too good but this was a mistake. Descend the stairs and enter the warm glow of YYY where food is triumph, service is friendly and the price is ridiculous.... More

The food was gorgeous! (The momos are to die for!) The setting is stunning: lots of memorabilia hanging from the walls. The owner was so welcoming and sweet: he gave us a guided tour of the artefacts. Highly recommended! Such a memorable evening!

We ate here on a Sunday evening during our stay in Bath. The food was gorgeous from first course through to dessert. Each dish was full of complimentary flavours and was absolutely delicious. The service was great and the restaurant had a feel of ambience. Couldn't fault anything. Sorry we didn't leave a tip, we didn't have any change, but... More

I was taken here by my boyfriend as part of my birthday surprise trip to Bath. I had never tried Nepalese food and I was not disappointed! The food was amazing, so tasty with decent portions. All of the food is cooked fresh so you can decide on the heat of each dish, we braced the hot option. I would... More

What a gorgeous little find! So cute in the basements of some town centre buildings as you descend to the outer entrance you are transported across the globe and from the super cute courtyard you enter an eastern paradise. Aromas decor furnishings are perfect for the theme, staff were awesome picking us a selection of dishes for starters and mains... More

food excellent, different. had the set menu and chose pork aloo sagh as the meat, wife had the chicken . presented in small bowls on a epind tray. the food was superb, unique and highly flavoured with floral notes . the accompanying chutney like dishes were especially aromatic, spicey and floral. unique and excellent. Highly recommended.

Have eaten here three times recently. In my view, this is quite the best Asian restaurant in Bath, by a mile. No red or orange gloop here......fresh ingredients beautifully cooked with discernible spicing. A treat for vegetarians too. Service occasionally slow but worth it.

This really is an outstanding restaurant, providing subtly spiced Nepalese food which makes a pleasant change from the 'run of the mill' Indian.

If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.
