Meh about sums it up. The restaurant was pretty full, even at 6:30pm. However, the food was found wanting with smallish portions and we found them to be a bit lacking in flavour. The service was polite, if somewhat inattentive. In a word - underwhelming.

We were looking forward to come to this restaurant. The food is OK but the portions of the main dishes are very small. We had a lamb curry that was OK but the lentil dhal was awful. The worst was when the bill came, the...More

We hadn't had breakfast on our last day in Bath. We had this place on our list so thought kill 2 birds with 1 stone. The set menu does come on a metal tray with 3 dishes, Dall, rice and the main. Either chicken or...More

Great, quirky restaurant with a good ambiance. It is in a basement and has a main section with little side rooms off it. We were seated in a small room which was a bit dusty but nice all the same. Service was friendly and efficient...More

Funky little basement restaurant serving amazing Nepalese food! My husband (who does not like Indian food/curry much) LOVED it! As did I! We started our meal with Mo Mos - these are wonderful dumplings and just MELT in your mouth! A MUST TRY! Delicious food,...More

I had never had Nepalese food before, however this restaurant is amazing. From the decor, to the food and the service. It's a shame that I don't live closer! Well worth a visit as part of your trip to bath

Located in the basement of an Edwardian terrace in Bath, I had walked past this little gem many times before venturing down the steps to this really very good restaurant, and I do mean really good. From the fantastic welcome to the helpful tips on...More

Description
If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.
