Starter (Ham Hock Terrine) was a bit small but tasty. The lamb main dish was tender and had lots of flavour. The dessert was very nice. Beer selection is good and well kept. Service excellent.

I chose a roast beef roll, and my partner chose the quiche. We thought that these "light meals" would suffice until the evening, and allow us to enjoy the Christmas Markets without being hungry. Mistake ! We could have probably survived the day without additional...More

Menu uninspiring - food okay - pie crust solid and seasonal veg = pile of red cabbage. Not as good as I remember - disappointed.

Billboard advertises "Best Fish & Chips In Bath". Having not tried any others we can not vouch for that, however we can say they were very nice. The chips were very crispy on the outside, very nice, I liked the different slant on Mushy Peas....More

It was our first night in Bath and it was difficult to find somewhere to eat as the downtown area at night was deserted. We decided we wanted some pub food and Garrick’s did not disappoint. We both had fish and chips and it was...More

Visited twice on a short break in Bath. Mussels with leek and bacon would grace any 5* establishment. Great bar menu. Top roast. Ploughman’s for two very tasty and generous with beetroot tinted pickled eggs. Friendly staff. Just great.

Situated next to the Theatre Royal in the centre of Bath, the Garrick's Head Pub and and Dining Room offers a delicious selection of locally inspired dishes. Using seasonal ingredients and making everything fresh on site the kitchen serves traditional pub dishes such as fresh cod in beer batter with triple cooked chips and "the best burger in Bath" to more complex creations, Venison steak with a mini cottage pie of venison or poached Guinea fowl with wild garlic both popular at the moment. The Garrick's Head is ideally situated for pre Theatre dining as it is directly next door to the theatre so you are only minutes from your seat. Often described as a country pub in the city centre the Garrick's Head has roaring fires, four real ales and over 50 whiskeys, very much a pub with a dining room there are also over 50 seats outside on the terrace, perfect for watching Baths beautiful people come and go.
