This restaurant is attached to the hotel, which is a really lovely hotel in the centre of Bath. Sadly, although very smart the restaurant is in the basement and is rather dark, although it has to be said, beautifully decorated and characterful. They serve really wonderful, not overpriced cocktails which we had before our meal. In hindsight I don't think... More

We had the seasonal tasting menu with matching wines. Really delicious food perfectly matched and interesting wines. The whole restaurant seem to be enjoying great food and there was lots of friendly conversation between tables, which gave the restaurant an extra buzz. Professional caring service. It really was an evening to remember.

This is downstairs in the basement so there is no view. The food speaks for itself-lovely flavours but expensive. The staff are very helpful also.

We were made to feel very welcome. My aunt is lactose intolerant. This didn't seem to cause any problem for the chef. Both our meals were wonderful. Thank you.

Food was excellent, a little disappointing was the first glass of prosecco was flat, and when highlighted there was no real apology. Service was also a little slow, not expected to be fast services due to the nature of the menu, however it was exceptionally slow at times between courses

We had a really fantastic meal here on Saturday night. Service was attentive without being OTT and our waitress was really friendly. We had one of the best meals we'd had in ages - delicious from beginning to end. It is hard to fault any of the courses, but we particularly loved our dessert and would happily travel to Bath... We had the seasonal tasting menu and both hubby and I agreed it was the best meal out that we have ever had. Between us we've been to several Nobus, The Chiltern Firehouse, Mr. Chow, Roka, The Cliff in Barbados and the Kempinski grill and Les Dix Vins in Switzerland plus myriad other brilliant eateries. This was simply exquisite. Although... More

I visited the Olive Tree this week as part of a business dinner. Really good quality food, great service and overall venue and decor is good too. Arriving at the restaurant, you go down some steep but charming steps at the front, to enter the dining area separately from the hotel. Warm welcome from the moment we arrived - and... More

An exceptional evening for my wife's birthday. From the moment we were greeted by the Restaurant Manager to the moment we left, he was highly attentive without being obtrusive. The food is sublime, it was impossible to select a favourite course with such delicious combinations of flavours in all the dishes. A split level dining room that is not too... More
